ROTOR INSTALL QUESTION

I GOT A ROTOR FROM DISMANTLERS. BUT IS THERE A TORQUE FOR THE BRAKE CALIPERS AND CENTER MAIN HUB NUT. ISTHERE and is it ok to use the same bearings, and it a rusty rotor ok ??

I can't say for sure if you need a specific torque for the calipers and hub, but I would imagine you do. As far as the rusty rotor goes I personally would just replace it if I already had it off. A car I previously had had rotors that were rusted pretty badly, they caused the pad(which was pretty much gone) to constantly rub against the rotor even when you weren't braking. I don't think driving with a rusty rotor is a major issue though.

i dont think there is a torque for the caliper bolts. the hub nut is set by hand. you tighten the nut while you spin the rortr. when the rotor starts to grab because the nut id too tight lossen the nut up until it stops dragging and you can put the keeper and cotter pin back in. the rust will wear off the rotor while oyu use the brakes. it wont hurt anything.
