well safe for driving i would go with a 4 bar in the back. i have ladderbars beacuse i want to hook up with a turbo stroked small block. i would do a mustang II under the frount. think the cross memeber was 500 to 600. they have tubular arms and spindles new on ebay pretty cheep. i think you will be happier with it in the long run.

You can always just get the crossmember for the Must. II and use wrecking yard parts from a donor Must. II to put it together for now. Then, as you can afford, you could upgrade to tubular arms, dropped spindles, etc. That's how I did the Must. II on my '56. Those complete hub-to-hub kits DO cost a fortune and even more if you start adding on options. Try giving Fatman Fabrications a call. I'm sure they're a little more now and I don't know what they cost for a bump but I paid about $380 for my crossmember kit many years ago.
