Greetings from the Mojave Desert (but my heart's in Idaho!)
Greetings all,
I've been an avid reader of FORDification for a couple of years now, it's about time I started participating! My "collection" consists of a '68 F100 that has been in the family since '72 (I learned to drive in that truck), which was recently passed on to me from my brother. He was about to junk it, but instead rebuilt the original 360 and let me have it for a case of beer. In the past two years, I've put 30,000 miles on it (my daily driver), and added 8100GVW axles/brakes, power steering, and power brakes. Thanks to FORDification, I was able to sort out most of the issues along the way.
I also still have the '72 F250 that I got all of the "good" parts off of...I've got enough pieces left over to make it driveable, so it won't end up in the junkyard.
I currently work for the US Govt, in the Mojave desert (near Palmdale), but my wife and my heart (and most of my immediate family) are in a little town in the mountains of Idaho. I can't wait to get Big Red back up there!
Blessings to all!

My TriPower doesn't get very good mileage. What's the problem?
