Flipping I-beams to lift 2wd truck?
Has anyone ever heard of or seen or know how to "flip" the I-beams on a 1967/72 two wheel drive f100 to lift the front end? If this is in fact possible please let me know the specifics. I want to lift my two wheel drive truck. Thanks for your help and Happy New Year.

Would that not affect your non-adjustable castor (or is it camber), I am no front end expert. Maybe it could be done if a super alignment shop nearby to rebent to reset whichever value it is on these that is attained from the stock setup, but I'm thinking reversing these does one or the other on the suspension geometry? I AM UNSURE!!! Just something posted to jar memories of others who will know, banjo.

Can't afford a 4x4.Redcap wrote:...why lift a 2WD truck?
No you can not do it. The beams ar bent in so many ways, it would throw everything off.
