Hello from the Latest Johnny come Lately from CO

Post by Physics Guy »

I have reentered the ranks of 67-72 owners after a 15 year hiatus. Today I bought a nice 72 Camper Special, complete with a big camper and some engine woes. Pictures will be forthcoming, as soon as the camper is off, as it kind of dominates.

Years ago, I was the proud owner of a somewhat dilapidated looking 69 F100 with a 3x2 390, and a bunch of go fast goodies. That truck was a serious sleeper, as I hope my new one will be.

Thanks to everyone here that I have already learned lessons from. This knowledge base is extremely helpful in keeping these beasts on the road. I hope that in time, my experiences can help others on the forum as well.

Cheers!
My TriPower doesn't get very good mileage. What's the problem?

Just found the FORDification site today. Looks pretty good so far.

I'm the 3rd owner of a 72 F250 CS with all the goodies, even factory cruise control that still works.

Got the truck from my Dad who bought it when it was 4 years old.

Interior is still real good but I've got to get the motor, paint etc back to what she is worthy of.

Look forward to pickin everyone's brain and slowly putting her back like she once was.
