61-66 frame compared to bump frame?

Post by layedout72 »

Haven't I read that these have not changed drastically between all these years? Atleast in the front? Did the slicks not have the twin beam setup as well? I know they were solid axle for some time, but what did they switch too? I am weighing out all my options once again for the front end.

61-64 2x4 trucks had solid front axles. The cab mounts are also different.

65-66 are the same (for the most part, maybe just some holes here and there.) as the bump frames.
