door gap

got some seals for my doors today. i put them on and the right is good but the left don't shut all the way. i removed it and it closed all the way. what is the deal? can i adjust it some how?

you can move or adjust either or both the door hinges and or the door stiker bolt. i would say in your case the door striker bolt should be moved in to make the door shut further inward.

The seals are going to take some time to break in...to settle down. In the meantime, you can either adjust your striker bolt out a hair, or just slam the door a little harder than usual. They'll eventually flatten out enough so that slamming isn't necessary.

I have mine adjusted so you dont have to slam them and it just urks me to the bone when people do slam them but i always say you dont have to slam these doors.

can you hear that sound they make when they close? i can remember that sound they make. it s loud hollow kind of clangboom. thats the best i can describe it.
