hello from South Carolina!
Hi Ford truck people,
I was delighted to find Fordification (great name) and thank you to the guy in Nebraska who started it! (Keith, right?)
I am not a Ford truck owner yet but I have been kicking a lot of tires lately. I'm not sure why I want an old Ford pickup but I do. There is just something great about an old truck, and I'm partial to Fords. My brother had an 85 F150 that I used to drive a fair bit, so maybe I can get partial credit for that.
Anyway, thank you to all the people who make this site interesting and entertaining as well as helpful!
I do have a question -- is there a place to post questions along the lines of 'should I buy this old truck or not' ?? I did find one I am very interested in (69 F100) but I would love to get others' opinions.
Thanks for reading this and thanks for the great site!

Hey mkalayjian...
A big webfoot welcome to ya from the great Pacific Northwest...
Both my brothers live in SC, both are Ford truck owners.
TheeMc has a '72 Camper Special and is a forum member...
You can post any questions you have regarding buying a truck in the General section...
You can't go wrong with a '69...
IMO '68's and '69's are the best models...
Some will disagree with me 'cause everyone who has a bump thinks thier year is the best...
'68's ROCK

Welcome from the 'Left Coast' - you're going to find this site invaluable for information about making an informed purchase of one of these old bumpside beauties.
Hafta say, I'm partial to the '68 & '69 models (in particular the '69 Ranger... because of the distinctive trim).
Best of luck to ya!!
