Drivers Dood Glass not going up square and jamming
My drivers window seams too loose and goes up on a slant resulting in a jam or excessive effort.
The bottom adjustments are clear, but there is not I seam to be able to do about the top, if I tip the vent assembly backwards, I'll end up with a gap between its seal and the door frame......
Any suggestions?
Peter

It is a glass from my 71', which is now in a 68 door re: a cab swap.
Is it possible there is a small difference? I have seen this on 79-82 Mustang vs 83-86 - a very subtle difference in the door frame, the glass being slightly different size.
I don't seam to have any problem with the passenger side, going to look there and see if I can determine any difference.

The glass is the same for both years, so that shouldn't matter. There is a washer/stud/bolt on the door that holds the bottom of the vent window track in place. Is that in place and secured by the nut?

Lower front track is secure and I have tried it forward and back adjustment, no improvement.
The large plastic washer under the crank handle?, or one somewhere else on the regulator?
Peter
Both weather strips have been reused from the original door, they were not too old reproduction.
