STEERING

Post by peanutman »

hi im new to this site. I just bought a 1970 f-100 that previous owner added power steering but used saginaw box but didn't change column. I am having a hard time finding a new column. I have 3 on the tree and want to keep my power steering and the saginaw box. i need a 3 on the tree factory column that came with the saginaw box. My column is shot. I read i can use 73-79 column but what year did they put key on column. Any and all suggestions. Also how hard is circuit on back of insrument panel to replace.

It is possible to keep your 3 on the Tree and have power steering. I did.

Why is your column shot? Is it the right column to work with the saginaw ps box? Why not just refurbish your column, its not hard.
