changing leafsprings

Post by jschreiner »

Hi, I am new. Hope I am doing all this right. I have 69 f100 lwb,the leafs are very weak.Had a extra leaf added and rearced, rides like a log truck now. Any help on the springs? Like ones from a later model, ect. I have had my truck since I was 15, I am now 43. Love my old ford. Jay

Could ya pull the add a leaf and have the origonal pack re-arched? You can get new spring from a spring shop. They just don't list them for anything later then 1973. They are the same.
