DJM or AIM???

Post by Dunnburger »

I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldnt find it anywhere. Which is better for drop I beams? Also, how much drop do you actually get when all said and done.

Or, is it easier and would it look as good if I would cut 1 maybe 2 coils from the front and put say 15 or 16 inch rims up front with a lower profile tire and 18 inch out back (I have already flipped the hangers in the back and I don't want the front higher than the back, I'm looking for at least level)

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance!

I haven’t done it yet, but from everything I have read here from others that have, the DJM’s fit better and are the ones to use. But, have seen and heard to get the AIM tie rod relocaters as they are a better design. Cutting the coils to much will throw the camber way out because of the twin-I design… so be careful there…
Here is a link to a thread that one of the members did the beams to his rig.
