Frames?

Post by 71PA_Highboy »

Hello,

In my quest to fix up 'OB', I have picked up a better cab, a new (used) front end, and some Snowfighter axles... and I am interested in doing all the repairs and fitment while the parts are sitting on a frame... While driving the truck too....

So I am going to get a spare frame to mount everything to and then make sure it is all straight and square.

My question is: I have a 71 F250 Highboy... do I need another highboy frame or will any 68-72 frame work?

TIA,

Eric

any 67 to 72 F-250 4x4 frame will work. There are subtle differences though. For the best fit of all brackets, lines and wires, try to get a 70-72 frame, but there isn't too much difference.
