Hello everybody, automotive has and still is my life since 1975. I worked for Nissan for 12 years then owned a shop for 18 years. The last three years I've worked for a automotive training facility as a Instructor and now a Automotive Coordinator. That's why my username is mylifeswork.
I hope to learn much and be of help to some. I have been impressed with the site and appreciate all the information I've received.

Welcome to the site. Thats kinda like me in a way. My dad started teaching me at 10yrs old and i didnt give it up till 2002. Thats when i became a truck driver. So i guess i could say from around 1967-2002. O BTW just want to say

Thanks for the welcome. I've got a 70 Ford F100 shortbed styleside. I purchased it from the original owner. I first met him and the truck when I used to own my shop. In 1988 we went from front bumper to rear bumper overhauling everything. Since the major work I've conducted all the maintenance on it until October of 2006 when I purchased the truck. When we overhauled the engine in 88 we changed it from a 360 to a 390. Replaced the factory 2bbl. manifold to a Edelbrock perfromer and 4bbl. setup. Put dual exhaust with factory manifolds and Mallory unilite ignition. I've just recently pulled the engine to rebuild the entire front end. I've cleaned the engine to paint and found the bearngs down to copper so I plan on building it again. I'm just drooling over the options and how I want to build it this time, Demon carb, performer rpm manifold, headers, etc. etc.
