Where can I get...

Post by Darrman »

Where can I get the little clip in square nuts that are in the rad support and inner fender/s. They are those square nuts that are push clipped into the square openings, more specificly the lower hood latch, where it bolts to the rad support. I am missing one and the others are pitiful shape.

You might try Ace Hardware if you have them in your area... The ones around here have lots of different automotive mounting hardware like this. I've been surprized more then once that they had a clip or fastener for my rigs...

Any good auto parts store should carry those. I've seen them at Napa here.

Ok, I have been searching high and low and cannot find these cage nuts anywhere, at least ones that will work.
I tried Fastenal, and napa, and oreillys, nada.
Anyone else found these somewhere? Last resort will be the junkyard I guess.

Unfortunatly, no, u or j nuts require two holes to mount if in the middle of a panel. These only have one, and it would be a major pain to try to cut out another.
