ISO relays???

Post by xxxtina63 »

I recall reading a couple articles about incorporating a generic ISO relay in things such as the headlight harness to improve the voltage actually getting to the headlights, thus making them brighter. Has anyone ever tried this, and if so, does it actually work?

When my set up is done I will have ISOs on a DIN rail that takes over the low and high beam and marker lights for the whole truck. It just is a back burner project. I will post a drawing of the wiring tomorrow.

it is one of the best things you can do to your truck.you can even set it up so hi and low beam are on at the same time.

you can ford a river or stream and get to the other side, if you dodge it you will not, and if you drive a chevy to the levee it will run dry and the music will die.

Done it fer two of the trucks now and it should be a mandatory mod for pre '92 Fords.

Some digarams I've made:

With combined high and low beams and a toggle switch to replace the floor switch.
