Does anyone know if on a 66 with manual drum single bowl brakes if you can add a 66 power booster. Can you then add a dual bowl master cylinder and plumb in a prop valve and will it work.
MY 66 has 3 7/8 from pushrod center at pedal to firewall. I understand this is the same as the 67 which means of course it might be easier to just buy the 67 setup. I haven't been able to find a used one so guess i will
have to buy new.

If you're just wanting power brakes, you should just be able to pull the M/C, install the booster, and reattach the M/C. You only need a prop. valve if you are going with disc brakes.

Yeah that. My 67' uses the older 63?-66' style drums but the two pot master cylinder. Might want to look at Keith's post regarding pedal interchange for more ideas.

My old 66 highboy had a single resevoir M/C with manual brakes.
If this is the case, you will need to change the master too.
as far as the prop valve you should be able to just plumb it up like a 67 and use the 67 prop, sure I think it would work.
but I have no idea if its a bolt in or if there might be some drilling or fab work.
maybe someone else will chime in
