Anyone know of a source for these bearings? The catalogs are wrong when they show the same bearing for the upper and the lower column.
The dimensions are: .75ID 1.18 OD and a thickness of .225 (I have a sloppy mic, so the numbers may be a bit off) and is a single race ball bearing ...
I have called around and none of the bearing mfrs /dist. have anything like it.
Is there an aftermarket part for this... ?
Thanks!
Eric

I haven't found this bearing aftermarket or tried to track it down at a bearing house, but I can tell you all 67-72 columns use that same bearing. They all seam pretty sloppy, I don't think they were a very tight tolerance even from the factory. I've even sandblasted stuck ones, greased and installed them with great results. It's not like it sees 10,000 rpm or anything.
