re: stabilizer bar
A factory swaybar from a dentside truck ('73-'79) is a direct bolt-on for all earlier Twin I-beam trucks. The end links attach to a bracket mounted under the coil spring. The only holes you'd need to drill are the for the frame support brackets.

re: stabilizer bar
speaking of sway bars, do any aftermarket ones work with our suspension?

Sure, Addco sells complete kits. Here's a pic of one installation...this is an Addco ACO-113G:

If you're good with mild fabricating, you can easily adapt just about any swaybar. Here's one from a Ch*bby that someone installed with homemade brackets:

re: stabilizer bar
I will be using a 95 front D60 and D70 rear so I have the swaybars from a 95' F350 and a 85' F350 so hopefully one of those can be made to work. I thinking though that those are for the wider frames so if I used them the mounts wont be on the ends of the bar before it goes down to the axle so that may be a problem might have to get the 73-79 for the frame width??

re: stabilizer bar
I installed the front and rear that LMC sells which from the above pictures is indeed Addco. They do help the sway but makes for a stiffer ride. Not too bad to install.I was a little scared to drill through the i beams but they are not as tuff to drill through as I thought.I do recommend them, and they are not too pricey either.
