I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Did you have to use red bulbs or are white/clear ones ok? I ask this cuase somewhere someone said the bulb had to match the lens or it would look darker than stock.

so if i use clear i'll not see light? I don't get it. A bulb putting out say 200 lumins that is white(might be soft white or yellow) through a red lens is yes dimmer than through clear but the red lens still lights.
Will my lens still look lit up?

If you use a clear light behind a red lens you will see it and it will light up red.but it will not be as bright as it could with a red bulb. That is the way I gathered from the web site I posted above.
