What provides power to the emergency brake warning light on the '67 custom cab?

Uh oh, I think this subject could use a tech article.

Yes, this question has been answered before.

The emergency brake does not have a warning light. The only dash warning light associated with the brake is for brake system imbalance.

Go to the schematic - http://www.fordification.com/images/sch ... ghts02.jpg

Look for wire 511. The Brake Waring Lamp Switch is activated (grounds) when the pressure between the rear and front system is out of balance. Wire 511 goes to the ignition switch (during start this connection probably should ground), from the ignition wire 511A to the light, to wire 460, to power from wire 16. On some trucks the light comes on during cranking.
