73' lift work for a 67'?

Post by bigman78 »

So ive been told by a few people that the 73' skyjacker 6" lift kit will work for my 67'. Ive got a 67' f-250 4wd highboy. Has anyone ever done this themselves or no someone who has :? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :D

Yes they have the same frames and springs. Only change is in 77.5 to a 3in wide spring in the rear unlike the 2.25in wide rears on the highboys. I have the Skyjacker 4in leafs up front and their add-leafs in the rear.

So if i ordered a 6 inch lift for a 73' f-100 for my 67' f-250 it would work with no problem. :? What about my driveline or any other problems that i could have with the 6 in. rather than the 4 in.

No the F100 is coil sprung you have to order the 67-77.5 F250 lift with the leafs. 4in is the max for a box lift right now. You can have custom springs made or build some hangers that drop the eyes of the springs down a couple inches. A member here was looking into the custom springs, check out the thread. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... hp?t=15474
