Click, click, click...?
I am trying to go back to work and I can't get my truck started! I turn the key and hear a click and that's it. Battery is good to fair. I replaced the starter sillinoid this morning. The starter works. What else could it be?

Loose and/or corroded battery terminals. Even if they look good, clean 'em up and make sure they're tight. Also make sure the battery ground cable is tight where it attaches to the block.

No the motor doesn't turn at all. All connections have been sanded to bare metal.

try turning your key on to start make sure your in park and take a screw driver and jump the selinoid right where the battery and S terminal is if it starts it'll get you to work.
Then when you get out of work later you can double check everything.

The metal box looks like the horn relay. Was it right beside the starter solenoid?
Sounds like you have a bad battery (first guess) or badly corroded cables. I would have the battery load tested.

Well my new starter just came in. I'm going to put it in and wait for my wife to get home so that I can jump start and pray that that fixes it

I am almost thinking that the starter gear was starting to burn up and was causing it to lock-up. Or at least get stiff enough to need a ton of power to turn it. My alternator belt was also pretty loose and maybe keeping the battery from getting a full charge. I did see that the starter gear teeth were all chewed up and parts of the flywheel have seen better days...a lot better days! I think that maybe it was a combination of a couple of things that caused it.
Whatever...it runs now!
