door edge peep mirrors

hello all,
Has anyone had any good bad or other experience with the upper(top of window frame) door frame 4"round peep style mirrors as sold by LMC for 20 bux a piece?I would assume at that price its overseas parts and finish and and not to hardy?thanks

The ones we sell are pretty good. I just don't like that they clamp on the paint.

I bought a set on eBay for around $20. When installed, I had a hard time getting the right side to be useable from the drivers seat. Don't think it still is where it needs to be. Mirror finish is good and the mirrors do what I want them to do. I had some rubber gasket type material that I used between the mirror and door. That seems to have stopped any damage to the finish.

I had the LMC one on my truck for awhile. It wasn't bad. I put the jr. western mirrors back on to retain the factory look. It is small but works. I had it on the top of the "A" pillar and my vent window wouldn't open too far. If you mount it on top it won't be out in front of you. It will be more next to you, and harder to just take quick glimpses at. That's why I had it on the "A" pillar. My

Oh yeah, by the way, it did look pretty cool!
The only reason I took it off was to go back to stock.
