77 radiator support
I hope someone knows this here. I am putting a AC in my 77 f100 302. The radiator support has the smaller 24" wide core in it. The condensor will not fit in the opening. The radiator is bad so I need to replace it anyway. I want to put in the 26" core radiator which I think I need with AC anyway. I will need to cut the radiator support to fit. There seems to be some mounting holes about 5" to the drivers side of the truck and if I use those the radiator should fit fine. I think that will also give me enough room for the condensor too. This would put the radiator off center in the truck. Is this how the original was mounted? Anyone got any experience with this? I could sure use some information.

re: 77 radiator support
I cut the support today and the bigger radiator fit just great. There was room for the condensor too. I replaced the fan shroud with the radiator - I really didn't have a choice and everthing looks like it was factory installed including the AC. While I had it apart I shot it with Krylon flat black and it looks new from the front. Thanks for the help.
