Cab Mount Help

Post by cghstrojan08 »

Do you think I should try to replace the cab mounts or should I have it done? I have a guy that will do it for $300. They are rusted out in the front and affecting my steering column. It has pushed it up. I am getting ready to install PS and I don't know if I should have the cab fixed first or it doesn't make a difference. Thanks!

Fix the cab first as this will hinder the new install when you pull the colume the cab will drop most likely making it hard the realign the new setup.

once the cab mounts are fixed look at your column and make sure it didn't put a groove all the way around the shaft. if it did i think you can safely fill the groove with a weld.
