Chrome plating

Chrome plating
Is this a good or a bad idea... take the grill off my truck, fix dents and scratches, and then send it to a local place here to get it chrome plated. Can this be done to an aluminum grill? Also, how much would something like this cost me?

It's a great idea. Aluminum can be chromed, but not all shops are able to do it. Now for the bad part.... it's gonna be spendy
