Not sure how to do it... it requires either a kit or some fabricating on your end. This company has fiberglass tilt front ends and a kit that includes the hinges.

Wow. That looks like it would take 3 men and a boy just to lift it up. A cantilevered fiberglass unit weighs enough, but mabe those old hood hinges would lift it ok.

i see what ur talking about cut out a handhole in the hood and pull back on it like they do on the big rigs
i thought about taking it all off cut the end part of that frame weld the hinges on it then put some cinderblocks under it and put itall back together i'll try it it prob wont work but im gonna give it a shot ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

that one is not the best setup. you need to weld the front together and add some bracing. this one is powered and pretty simple. check out the pics

heres the truck i wanna do that to its a 71 ford 2 or 350 not for sure when i bought it
but its a new project im gonna make it a tool truck...

the 65 bumper stays in the same spot too. the other one has the frame cut in the front. this setup works pretty good and looks pretty clean.

if i build another crew. i going to build a 4x4 with diesel and a tilt front. if ever finish my 70
