If you got the sheet steel bracket from a 70 and later 390 they are the same with or without AC. Trucks without AC just use a thick spacer behind the bracket where it bolts to the head. What is the number on the pulley you got? Hawkrod390F100 wrote:Hawkrod,
I went to the bone yard and found a bracket for the ps pump but the one I found was for a 390 w/ ac and mine does not have air. the pump bolts up fine to the bracket but I dont know if it will cause the pully to be misaligned. I did thread a pulley on it and unfortunately it does not line up with everything else. I will end up needing the pulley and any other advise you may have. Thanks again![]()

Re: P/S Pump Pully
Looks like the pulley has an (A8) stamped in it and the bracket was from a 70 I believe but I do not have any spacer for the head. I bolted it up to the head and it seemed fine but what do I know...

Re: P/S Pump Pully
you can use washers to space the bracket out to where it should be. i now seem to remember my dad doing that once.

Take some pictures and show us what you have. A8 is not the number I am looking for so look again and find all of the numbers as there will be more.
