1968 swb hydroboost, ididit tilt column, Saginaw p/s pump with F series serpentine, all led lights, Vintage Air and painless wiring. 393w, tko600. CV front suspension w/c5 calipers and gt500 rotors. Stock Flexomatic leaf springs with 01 CV 8.8, 3.90 gears and Auburn locker. Custom wood bed floor. Full frame off resto-mod.

3" beams and 2" coils... pretty simple and rides great

what do you meen by flipping the rear axle?

Flipping the axial is when you move the axial from the bottom of the leaf springs to the top of the leaf spring stack up.

I could crawl under the truck and take some I guess. It's not anything special. Just the old pad cut off and ground away and new axle pads welded in on the bottom of the axle.

It will prob be this weekend before I make it out to the shop(1hr away from my new house). I have been working six days a week and usualy 48-56hrs a week. It's been a busy year.

Incidentally, about 3 years ago, I bought a kit to relocate the axle to the top of the spring. This kit installs with no welding (bolts in) and does not change the pinion angle at all. I have 3600# Flexo leafs in the rear of my truck, not many trucks have 3600# springs (especially in a short bed), the springs are very arc'd. I'm seriously considering lowering my truck, depending upon how much clearance I have with the new rims/tires. I won't know until the rims get here and I can take some measurements.
