The PO repainted it a ugly a** blue so no I don't. Somewhere I have the paint code written down or I can look when I go to laramie tuesday. What is the official name of your color?

Saddle tan!! is the name of the color. Don't ask about my vin code # for the paint :roll: long story. Well I can make it short, Code says X thats blue, well my truck never has been repainted. So I talkd to a friends friend that workd for ford from 67 to 90 some thing. He worked on the line my truck was made on. He said all explorers was blue unless it was a dso Dealer special something lol. I'll have to look at the email. So my truck just got painted the color one of my family menber wanted. So hafe of my vin code is not even in the books.

But thats the short part of the story :lol:

If you want a nice bright yellow, I would recomend "Blazing Yellow" it was (is?) a Ford color from '04 and it looks very good IMO. It was used on F-150s. (its not the ugly creamy mustang yellow)

hey lance. i just thought of something. flat black with a clear coat overlayer, chrome grill and bumpers, prarie gold stripes down the side
