paint bubbling on door panels-painted-what do you think?

is it bubbling or "fish eye" ing? you get fish eye when chemicals or oils are still present on the surface.

it sounds just like whats going on with the panels. maybe it is fisheye. ill try cleaning the surface better too. thanks

what i usually do to prevent fish eye is look on the can what it says to thin it with (mineral spirits, varsol...) then wipe it down with that solvent, wait for it to dry, then paint...

well i got it to work :D . I got a better rattle can paint, wiped the surface of the doorpanels with paint thinner, and shook the can alot and got great results. sooooo purty :)

when i re-upholster the seat i will have it half white so it will match the panels.
how do you guys think the panels look painted white?

it looks good . they will be hard to keep clean.
