I have swapped springs back and forth a couple times and even bought a new pair though I am now using an old set.
I read, I think here, about the springs having different heights from side to side to off-set the engine sitting farther to the right. Is this so?
I compared the 2 springs last time I messed with them and could not see a difference.
I plan on on doing the king pins some time pretty sood. Going with bronze. It would be a good time to figure this out while I have everything tore apart.
Any ideas?
When I put in the new springs a while back I actually cut a round off one spring to even it up. It worked but I cannot remember WHY I took those back out. I do know they are a little heavier varible rate spring so maybe it rode too hard. The 460 may make them more tolerable now though.
