Pro-Street trucks

Post by Pro-Street/StateTk »

How many members have pro-street trucks, or plan on building one?
Do you plan 4/link or ladder bars or moving the leafs inboard?

8) 8) :)
Cut ( FOUR ) pieces of an old ford truck frame that has been junked, fit them to the inside of your good frame, add weld and bolts, the leafs are now inboard, time for the (big WIDE tires)!

Oh yeah (Tubbs)

I hope to build a pro street style truck from my '69 Ranger short bed. 1st step is to put disc brake up front then drop the front using AIM drop beams, then drop the rear by "flipping" the axle to on top of the leaf springs and relocate the leaf spring to the inside of the frame rails so I can put some 12" or 15" wheel on the rear. All of this is still in the planning stages except for the disc swap, thats going to be done real soon. Got most of the parts for the swap bought.

I'm building a pro street f350 with duals I always wanted to race my one tonne. I don't think traction will be a problem, just my weight. But my Hp should be able to keep my truck competitive though. :D :D :D 390 nitros twin 4bbls, C-6, 456 gears, alm deck, fiberglass fenders, lightened frame :shh:

suspension:
lowed rear springs & dropped front end
