Door Hinge Color

Post by Sharkdance »

Greetings,

I was thinking of painting my door hinges black. But I also like the look of body color hinges.
I've seen several pics in the photo gallery of trucks where the hinges were painted black along with the pin switch bracket and I like the contrasting color when the door is open. But then again, body color hinges tie in that ugly door post area nicely without drawing attention to it like different color hinges would.

What do you think?

You didn't have an option for "both". ;)

I think you need to keep the hinges the body color, to make them disappear.

Personally,I think they would look cool with a metal clearcoated finish...Kinda like hoodhinges and such...It would add a nice detailed touch....

Body color is a way to make them less noticeable. They are eye sores.
