Been awhile. Looking at upgrading to 3g internal reg alternator cuz my old trucks been through 3 or 4 of the chinese rebuilds.
Will this work? When i enter 67 ford f100 with v8 it says it wont fit... . Uhg.
Thanks all. The easier this is for me the better.

Which v8 do you have? What alt mounting are you currently using? Post a pic and it will help answer your question. Most likely, yes, this will work. It is a one-wire thou and I am sure you read all he posts arguing for/against these... I have a 200 amp 1-wire and it works great.

Its the 360/390 motor. The alt 1 wire is what i want right?
Just need the big gauge wire and the fuse after the battery its lookin like. Should be easy enough and get rid of that crappy ext regulator and hopefully my future alt problems. The alt bracket is just a two hole slide for the belt. Not sure if i have the 7.25 or 8" spacing.
Frustrating is all i guess when your trying to build a truck back up from the ground up. Thanks all.
Trucks been sitting last cpl seasons cuz of a blown water plug from the last winter. Cant wait to see if i can fire her back up here soon.

Re: 3g? Will this work?
Need pictures.
There is a bracket that holds the Alt up next to the valve cover, and another than holds the alt lower near the exhaust manifold parallel to the heads.
You need the second one. Then any 1 wire alt will work fine. Be sure and order a silicone/rubber alt wire cover. When you loosen the alt to change a belt it will ground on the block if you aren't watching.
Also, when you unplug the factory regulator, you need to find a few different wires that have to be ran back to the battery.
