I've owned or driven quite a few Ford trucks over the years, but recently picked up a 1970 F-250 Camper Special, Ranger edition. It is stock for the most part, with the exception of a 4 bbl carb, a high performance intake manifold and after-market exhaust. It is used pretty much as a farm truck to haul hay, run errands and do barn chores. While we are not looking to restore the truck, we do want to keep it on the road! Much days of wrenching
on cars are behind me, but am looking for info to help out!

That's an awfully nice looking "farm truck".

Whereabouts in So Cal are you? I am in Huntington Beach? Do you know about any ford truck or bumpside groups or clubs in the area? Would be awesome to connect with some local folks with similar interests.jp2005 wrote:I live Southern Ca, I'll help out. 12 years experience working on these old trucks.
