Wandering what people have come up with for shifter boots. Have a high tunnel with NP435 shifter and Transfer case shifter. Transfer case shifter boot is in several pieces and transmission shifter boot is not correct for application. I've found the transfer case boot on NPD and DC, no luck on the transmission shifter boot.
Anyone found a source for the factory style transmission boot?
Wouldn't mind going with something a little nicer than factory accordion boots, so if you've found something better I'm interested in that too.

Me too. I found one of the boots came with the predrilled holes in the wrong place, but the metal trim hid the problem.Busboy wrote:i think I got mine from LMC.

Re: Shifter boots for NP435 and Transfer case
Didn't even think about checking LMC.
I know the metal retaining ring for the transfer case boot is still there, its rusty but that can be fixed with a bit of paint.
I'll have to dig around to see if I still have the one for the transmission shift boot. Not sure that I care for that factory style transmission boot after all. Might have to give this a try if I don't have the ring. https://www.tomsbroncoparts.com/product ... t-boot-kit

Re: Shifter boots for NP435 and Transfer case
What a coincidence, I just got a new transfer case boot this past weekend! Got it from a Dennis Carpenter eBay listing:
Part #: C6TZ-7B059-A
eBay listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/253791055128
It's listed as a 73-77 Ford Bronco, but the part number is the same as for my '70 bump. $23.74 with free shipping, and no tax since it came to FL from CA.
This is one of the new one sitting on top of the old one. Holes nice up nicely:
Good luck!

Holes nice up nicely?!?
Wow, typing way too fast. Let's try 'line up nicely' instead.
