Starting a project thread. I bought this truck about 3 years ago off of a guy who brought it over here from Las Vegas. It has no rust. It was originally a longbed highway work truck for the state of Nevada, had a 390 auto and was the color of Prairie Yellow, "Custom" trim, radio and guage instrument panel, and dual tanks. The previous owner painted it wimbledon white, pulled the tired 390 and dropped in a 351windsor and FMX out of a 76 Torino.
I have used it off and on as a daily driver and now for a few years and she is about to be transformed.
She will become my tow vehicle for another toy (Gran Torino of Montego.) I just picked up a 1972 460 that will fit nicely into my plan with Thumpr cam, 18" Boyds, 3" duals exiting the sides right behind the doors. The color will be Tunnel Ram Metallic.

Will be looking for a CV front end and Explorer rear end with rear discs and leaf springs. Since my truck has power steering, I am figuring I can reuse my ps pump. My truck also has drums all around with a factory power booster. so I am hoping this booster will be fine with discs all around.

Bed is unbolted and sitting aside. I need to build me a set of dollys to set it on so I can wheel it around. I've also started the prep work to pull off the front doghouse. I have unhooked everything but rad. That is for tomorrow...
