Hood Hinge Springs
Has anyone installed LMC truck hood hinge springs Part # 40-3128 on their 67-72 ford pickup. If you have, how did they work out? Thanks for the help.

Re: Hood Hinge Springs
Installed the springs this afternoon using the tool LMC sells and they went on fine. Now I don't have to use a stick to hold the hood open.

Do the LMC hinges seem pretty stout, original quality?

I didn't buy the hinges only the replacement springs. Sorry I can't be of help.

Re: Hood Hinge Springs
Thanks for updating us on your own post after you bought the springs. I get tired of grabbing a stick, but the back of my head gets pretty upset when I try to be lazy and not grab a stick... dang that latch has some sharp edges...

You're not kidding about the sharp edges. I've hit my head on it many times.
