Resizing a pic for my avatar?
I've tried a couple of different apps but they didn't do it. How do I get the file size small enough? iPhone 4

Avatar can be no larger than 80x80 pixels. You can resize in any desktop computer app like Paint. Don't know about phones.

I've been trying to reduce the size of a picture for my avatar. Unlike my current avatar pic, which is analog ( film ), the pic I'm trying to reduce was taken with a digital camera. The original size was something like 2000 x 1500 pixels. I used "Paint" to reduce it to 80 x 50 px, but it still won't post. 
It is still at 237 kB file size. Apparently the file size has to be 6 kB or smaller in order to post. Just for the hell of it, I reduced the picture to 8 x 4 px and even then it is still a whopping 234 kB .
