Pressure for 235/85R16 E
For those of you with 235/85R16 load range E what tire pressure do you use in your F250’s when they are not loaded.
69 F250, FE Specialties 410, CJ Valves, RPM Intake, Holley 4150,......10 Smiles per gallon

I usually run 35-40 psi unloaded. BTW running high pressures while unloaded not only makes the ride harsher but reduces the amount of traction available.

I use those on my 68. I usually run them at
about 55 pounds or so. Thats probably a good
"average" pressure for those. What I do is watch the
tire wear. If you start wearing a bit more in the middle
of the tread, vs the edges, you might have a bit too
much. But it will take a period of time to see that.
I'd prefer to run more pressure than less. Get better
MPG, less drag. More bumpy though... :/
