Hi all!....I'm the proud owner of a 1972 f-250 camper special, just purchased out of California. It's a custom with a warmed 390 and c-6 combo. It was sitting for 3 years, but the seller freshened it up a bit, and I drove it home to texas (at 80 mph most of the way!) My wife said I was nuts and I would end up stranded along the way and probably die but I made it without incident! (fooled her!) ....a restoration is underway, but I intend to drive it and enjoy it until it goes in the paint shop. It rides like a buckboard and Lord knows it loves gas, but it's a real truck with everything heavy duty and that FE is a real hoss!
