I recently picked up a 70 F100 short bed 2 wheel drive. It posted on ksl.com classifieds, its like Craigslist but more popular here in Utah. It was out in the middle of nowhere in a town called Salina and only $500 obo. I immediately called and made plans to drive out there to see it the next day. I end ed up getting it for $450. I drove home and made the 300 mile round trip the next weekend with my expedition and a car Dolly. It barely fit On it. I got it home and looked at it a bit more. Runs and drives but It needs quite a bit of work, but I'm up for the challenge. My father owns DAgostiniRestorations.com he is an amazing mustang restorer. I'm a mechanic and also help with the restorations. The truck I found out is x military. I have searched all over the web and cant find any info on it or any trucks like it, i ordered the marti report a few days ago. It has the aluminum tag riveted to the glove box, the truck is painted red, on top of Burgundy (which was professionally done at some point) and under that is army green. It has holes in the roof for a light bar or something like it. And the door tag, title, and glove box tag all match up and all say it was a government vehicle. According to this web sites Vin decoder. It has a 300 in it, a c4 or fmx trans, not sure yet. Drums all around, manual brakes and steering. Its a base model custom.ill post some more pics as I continue workin on it.Hello from Utah
