I need help with wheel selection for my 71 ford f100 longbed
ok i have cragers right now but i think ive got them sold, i didnt want to use them anymore becuase they are too wide 15x10 in the back and 15x8 in the front and since im doing a 4-5 inch drop they wont work,
besides i wanted a newer style rim anyway, i know about baby moons and torque thrusts but i want something atleast 16-17 inch if possible, and if possible a spoked wheel, my truck lug bolt patter is 5 on 5 1/2 and i cant find any other wheels with this pattern,
if anybody knows a good lsit of wheels that will fit please let me know, thanks josh

JD, I have been trying to post pics in here but I think my Pics are to big and I cant figure out how to minimize them. I have it posted at fte under CJ,s 67 F100. They are listed in the Jegs book with pics of the wheels

As far as resizing pics, I use a program called IrfanView. An internet search should find it for you. Best part: it's free!

Other than a stock wheel and hupcap/wheelcover, the best looking wheels on these trucks is the aluminum slot wheel like the ones on Comet's truck. I hope to get a set of these on my truck before it's all over. I bought the Eagle Alloy 058 for my truck because they were the most inexpensive I could find at the time. 300.00 w/ center caps and lugs. truck.![Image](http://www.fordification.com/galleries/albums/userpics/10054/Marina1.jpg)

This is what I have done,16X10 mickey t's big hole wheels,275-60-16 tires, truck has been lowered,I roll the fender lips in and on the rear I stick a 4X4 up in the wheel well pull on the 4x4 untill I get a good flair going,it will take awhle but if done right it can't be notist, the front is a fat pipe rolled back and forth between the tire and fender, take your time and it will cone out great and the tires will clear. If the wheels you want don't come in your bolt pattern, redrill.I wanted big brakes on my F100,I put F250 discs on and I redrilled a 5x51/2 boil pattern in them and now going to finish lightening them up,they are twice a thick in the castings compared to the F100 disks,If you want to do some work then pick what you want and make
it fit.
