Are 67 and 74 radius arms interchangeable?

im doing a disc brake front end swap and just realized the rear on the radius off the 74 are rusting out so i need to know if i can swap my 67s on the 74 stuff

As long as you're NOT going to use the sway bar of the '74 (if so equipted) your '67 radius arms should work out just fine.

I've got a set of axles from a 1979 F100 on my 1967 and I used the forged arms from the 1967. You just need to use the spring cup from the '67. The cups are different between the '67 and the '74. You basically just change out the axles, scrap the stamped steel radius arm. Don't forget you'll need to change out the steering linkage. Good luck!

On the 74 they are rusting out, yes, i could but they will be weaker. I mean the metal that is meant to be there is gone
. Mine is only 2wd but i think the steering boxes are the same, but ill get the linkage just encase. and this 74 doesnt have the sway bar. One last thing, mine is a 67 3 on the tree and 67 is kinda a yr of its own and i didnt know if the 74 master cylinder would be necessary but i got the master cylinder, the arm thing
, and the entire brake pedal system. how will i do the brakes? i didnt know if i can use the 74 master cylinder on the 67 arm and brake pedal. so guidance would be appreciated.

go ahead and use the 67 radius arms. and the spring cups as mentioned above.
as for the brakes. there is a residual valve inside of the master cylinder where the brake lines hook up at. remove the one from the rear line port. that controls the front brakes. also use the 74 proportioning valve instead of the 67 distribution block. you will need that for the disc brakes. the 74 master may have a deeper brake pedal rod hole than the ones on our trucks. so it may not work on your truck because of that. i have only heard one story as to a failure to work on our trucks about the dentside masters. so it may work. i would check the depth first. or remove the residual valve instead and use your old master. the 74 brake pedal and bracket wont work in our trucks.

As far as an answer to your question, I've never converted an F100 to power disc brakes. My thinking is that a Bump power brake booster and master cylinder would be the best choice. Because they're only found on F250 Bumps, I'm NOT certain that the F250 master cylinder would "work" with F100 calipers.
...further thoughts are to use the Bump F250 brake booster with a Dent F100/F150 master cylinder... Would that "work", further investigation IS in order here as we're dealing with your brakes, something I never like to leave to second guessing as not only is your life at risk, but so are the lives of others IF your brake system fails or doesn't perform properly!!!

okay i think i know what im going to do now. Remove the residual valve out of the 67 for the front brakes, then run new lines to the 74 proportional valve then run the brake lines to the proper brakes. Does this sound right guys?

As far as brake line routing, you're on the money. This, however, does NOT confirm or deny whether or not you're on the right track with your power brake booster and the '74 master cylinder.
...my hope for you is that someone who has more experience than I will chime in on the pros and cons of adapting the '74 master cylinder (and power brake booster if so desired) to your Bump and what hardware is required to execute this swap properly and with SAFETY as the outcome in brake performance.

67 is a one year only brake booster. if you change the brake pedal and bracket to a 68-72 bracket then yo ucan use up to a 77 brake booster.

i dont have a power brake booster, its not going to be power brakes. whats the matter with doing what Fordman said and removing my residual valve out of my 67 and then running new lines to the proportioning valve?

and if i choose to run power brakes, i know a guy in town that has a 67 brake booster
so im not worried at all about the power brakes at this point.
