just a quick sway bar question

i know that i want one off a 73-79 pickup. I was just wondering if it has to be off a 2wd? And can it be off a van?

mine is a 70 2wd F100

I believe the actual sway bar is a little different. If I remember correctly I grabbed a sway bar from a truck but got all the other brackets and such from a van. The reason was that the truck was covered in grease and the van was very clean.

You will definitely want a 2wd as a 4X4 has a solid front axle and does not use Ibeams. I'm not sure about the van or not. I would think as long as it uses ibeams it should work.

So i finally found a sway-bar off a 79 F250. The problem is i dont see a place for the sway bar links to bolt to on my F100. What do you guys use?
