Help With Shocks
I need to change the shocks on my 68 f100 and was wondering what you guys would suggest I should go with? Also should I look into changing the Coil Spring? The truck seems to have a slight lean towards the drivers side.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Help With Shocks
I like KYB shocks.
Lean could be caused by leaf or front coil. It's best to measure all four corners if you have a lean concern.

Re: Help With Shocks
could another shock be installed on that front shock mount.......if you created a lower bracket???????I asked this question on the .net site for dentsides but no response.................I have a set of these same combination shock/coil towers from my 2wd and wanted to replace the separate coil and shock towers on my 4wd ................I know it would be BEST to stagger the shocks but I want to make use of what i already have. somebody please respond

Re: Help With Shocks
well if you could find the identicle lower bracket as you have already it seems you could just reverse them and blot it up as a sandwich on the I beam. wont work for me because the truck mine is going on is 4wd and not I beam set up. yours looks easy.

Re: Help With Shocks
the only thing that i can think of is make a template of your lower shock mounts and get them cut out of som high strength steel plates and weld them on
