new tires
It's that time. I need to replace one tire, but, I was wondering what a good tire you guys recommend? Right now it's got 235/75R15 all around (don't know about the spare, can't get the bugger off). I looked it up, and it says P for passenger car. So, what's a good LT tire?

Re: new tires
When I got my 67 last year, I just replaced what was on there, P21575R15's, and I got white walls to boot! About $52 each at Firestone, after some dickering.
On your spare, spray a bunch of PB Blaster on the retaining bolt and nut, let it soak overnight, and I bet it will spin right off. Just remember that a spare tire, even an old one, is pretty heavy if it drops straight down on your arm or leg. Use your knee to support the spare while you are loosening the carrier.

Re: new tires
I went with the narrow size because of arm-power steering, and I figured they were closest to the original factory tires.
Wider looks better, especially if you go with after-market wheels.

Re: new tires
Holy bejeezus! $90! Lol. Not bad, I suppose. Could be worse. Although, I really like my mom's Mitsubishi Mirage tire price. $45 and warranted for 1 or 2 years (forget which at the moment). Ah well. Guess that one of the "perks" of owning a truck.
