Opinions needed on front sway bar removal
So I'm looking at the sway bar on my front suspension today and started to wonder if I could just take it off...for good. Now keep in mind my truck has a suspension lift so the front springs are pretty stiff anyway. It also has a 3" body lift but that is getting removed. The truck is just too high but I bought it like that. I talked to a friend of mine that said he's had about the same lift on a couple broncos and one had a sway bar and the other didn't and he didn't see much difference in the way they drove. Would I be making a huge mistake? The arms that connect to the frame on the backside has been resized for the lift but not very well. It of coarse doesn't help I'm a perfectionist. What a curse sometimes!

I'd run it if you already have it. Unless your going to be rock crawling or something I think there are more benefits to having it.

I agree. And sway bars are more important for vehicles which set higher, since they tend to sway more and lean more in the corners.
Why don't you just do a test? Just disconnect the end links from the frame and drive it around for a while and see what you think. If you don't notice a difference, then finish removing it...but if there's a noticeable difference in how it corners or sways, then hook the links back up.
